- Ferrochel® iron is iron in the form of an amino acid chelate that mimics heme iron. It is highly absorbable, gentle on the stomach, and does not cause constipation. The iron is not ionically bound as in inorganic salts, giving it approximately 4x higher bioavailability than ferrous (II) sulfate*. Ferrochel® iron is a patented product of Albion Laboratories Inc.

- Quatrefolic® folate is a natural and biologically active form of folic acid (4th‑generation folate).
Advantages over synthetic folic acid:
- a biologically active form that is fully utilized by the body,
- better absorption and higher blood concentrations,
- a safe and stable form of folate, validated in numerous studies,
- supports normal bodily processes even in individuals with an MTHFR gene mutation**.
**The MTHFR gene mutation is very common. Because of it, individuals have a less active enzyme needed to produce the metabolically active form of folic acid – folate. One of the main consequences of reduced MTHFR enzyme activity is elevated homocysteine levels in the blood, which contribute to vascular and other diseases, as well as disruptions in the methylation cycle that can lead to DNA damage. These are associated with cancer, immune system disorders, metabolic issues, and neurodegenerative diseases. Since this mutation is very common in the population, consuming natural folates such as Quatrefolic® folate is more suitable than consuming synthetic folic acid.
Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B12 found in foods such as eggs, milk, and fish. It is an active form of vitamin B12 that the body can use easily and immediately.
Vitamin C in the form of L‑ascorbic acid is added to enhance iron absorption and reduce oxidative stress in the body.
- Iron plays a role in oxygen transport in the body, the formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin, cell division, immune system function, and cognitive performance. It also contributes to energy release during metabolism and to reducing tiredness and fatigue.
- Vitamin C enhances iron absorption and contributes to reducing tiredness and fatigue. It also plays a role in collagen formation for the normal function of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums, skin, and teeth, and in protecting cells from oxidative stress.
- Folate (folic acid) contributes to blood formation and to reducing tiredness and fatigue. It also plays a role in cell division and contributes to immune system function, homocysteine metabolism, amino acid synthesis, and normal psychological function.
- Vitamin B12 plays a role in the formation of red blood cells and contributes to reducing tiredness and fatigue. It also contributes to energy release during metabolism, nervous system function, normal psychological function, and immune system function.
- Angelica is an herb that protects cells and tissues from free radicals and supports women’s urogenital health.
